Difference between theoretical vacuum and ultimate vacuum

The two concepts of theoretical vacuum and ultimate vacuum are similar and are commonly used in the field of industrial vacuum equipment, such as rotary vane vacuum pumps, screw vacuum pumps, vertical oil-free vacuum pumps, slide valve vacuum pumps, water ring vacuum pumps, etc.
The vacuum pump is connected to the detection container. After sufficient time for continuous pumping, the pressure in the container will no longer continue to drop and maintain a certain value. At this time, the gas pressure in the container is the absolute pressure of the pump. When the pressure value is as small as "0", the so-called "theoretical vacuum" and "ultimate vacuum" indicate that there is no substance (including molecules, atoms, etc.) in this state, which is only a state that exists in theory. It is actually impossible to achieve.
The smaller the pressure value, that is, the higher the vacuum degree, the closer to the "theoretical vacuum" and "ultimate vacuum", the better the vacuum performance of the pump, but the corresponding requirements for material life, sealing conditions, machining accuracy of parts, etc. are also greatly improved.
